On this extraordinary experience, hike the incredible landscapes of the Tasman Peninsula, Maria Island and Freycinet Peninsula and, by night, sleep on board a luxury ketch and admire the magnificent coastline from the deck each morning.
During this 6-day fully guided experience you'll visit Fortescue Bay where you will climb a track to the stunning dolerite sea cliffs the Tasman Peninsula is known for. Admire breathtaking views of dramatic rock formations, such as the Candlestick and the Totem Pole. You'll sail around the Forestier Peninsula, following in the path of early European explorers such as Tasman, du Fresne and Baudin. You'll discover Maria Island, home of the World Heritage-listed convict site of Darlington, once populated with prisoners, which is now home to an array of architectural relics and abundant wildlife. Visit sights such as the Bishop & Clerk Peaks, Fossil Bay and admire views toward Schouten Island and Freycinet Peninsula. You can also learn more about the island's unique Aboriginal, convict and industrial histories whilst exploring the Darlington precinct. During this 6-day adventure you'll visit Schouten Island, hike through Tasmanian Blue Gum forests, admire native wildflowers, marvel at the unique pink granite Hazards Mountains and take in the striking and iconic splendor of Wineglass Bay. This highly adaptable itinerary has been designed to suit walkers of every ability and level of fitness.
Drift to sleep each night on board the Lady Eugenie, a 23 metre luxury ketch. Lady Eugenie's spacious decks are the perfect setting for relaxing whilst taking in the stunning scenery. During the evening, you can dine on delicious meals made from local produce in the comfortable saloon before retiring to your private cabin.
