Take up the challenge and explore this vast wilderness on the 13-day, 12-night Kimberley Explorer, a first class walking experience among these pristine and awe-inspiring natural landscapes. While challenging, this experience is set at a relaxed pace with ample time to take in the sights and spend time relaxing around waterfalls and gorges. From the Gibb River Road gorges, El Questro Wilderness Park to the Purnululu National Park (the famous Bungle Bungles) - you will see an abundant array of wildlife, stunning views and historic sites. Swim in spring-fed waterholes and see ancient Aboriginal rock art in Manning Gorge and camp at iconic El Questro. You will travel for the entire trip in air‐conditioned comfort in a well appointed 4WD coach, and enjoy fully guided walks along the way.
The remote and breathtakingly beautiful Kimberley region is one of the world's most precious wilderness regions located in Western Australia's sparsely populated northern region and is a must visit for those keen to get off the beaten track. The Kimberley encompasses ancient landscape covering hundreds of thousands of square kilometres. This rugged wilderness is renowned for its legendary ranges, impressive gorges, semi-arid savanna and isolated coastline.
This is a camping tour with lots of comfort. You will have access to your own private tent. No single supplement for solo traveller to have your own tent. The four-person tents have plenty of room for two if you are travelling with your partner or friend. Each night you can choose to either sleep under the stars or inside the quality tents. Your field guides will prepare most meals for you to enjoy before a blazing camp fire.
Hosted by two professional wilderness guides, your small group (maximum 15) will walk 3 - 4 hours each day crossing spectacular various terrains. The Kimberley Walking Tour is fully supported. You will need to carry a day‐pack.

Climb Western Australia’s second highest peak on the ridges of Mount Bruce where you can expect spectacular views of the Karijini Range and an iron ore mine. Experience a true outback station stay and enjoy an astronomy tour of the dazzling desert night’s sky. Head to Exmouth where you will have the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. This tour has been designed for active people with a love of nature and a bit of an adventurous streak. For the most part the walks are not particularly long however they do require walking over a lot of rocks which can be challenging for some people not used to balancing. This is however something that can be improved prior to the tour.
During your tour you will be staying at a range of campsites in comfort. You will enjoy the privacy and use of your own semi-permanent tent as well as a knee-high stretcher bed and mattress. For persons travelling in pairs, you may choose to share a tent. You will need to bring your own pillow and sleeping bag.
