This walk showcases a relatively untouched and undiscovered part of Queensland that most people are yet to truly discover, the Scenic Rim South East Queensland. Set at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and surrounded by World Heritage Listed Gondwana Rainforest, the Scenic Rim is a regional Australian paradise waiting to be explored.
This incredible 3-day bush experience starts in the foothills of South East Queensland's Main Range National Park, an area renowned for its stunning collection of mountains, ridges, escarpments, forests and ancient volcanic plateaus. From here, led by experienced guides, you will journey through a region that contains more than 30,000 hectares of parkland, state forests and national parks as well as privately owned 2,000 hectare nature refuge. Your experienced guides will bring the trail to life, describing the tales, rituals and traditions of the region's indigenous inhabitants. Your 2 day guided hike will vary in duration and distance (13km and 15km per day) but are easily manageable with a moderate level of fitness.
You will stay in a luxury eco tent for 2 nights to truly immerse yourself in the Australian bush environment and restore your senses. Each day you will enjoy fresh regional produce, indulge in a contemporary Australian gourmet dining experience.
