Mt Mulligan Lodge offers guided tours of the goldfields including a sighting of Australia’s oldest gold crusher at Tyrconnell gold mine, exploration of the historic Mount Mulligan coal mine and abandoned township, ATV adventures discovering the beauty and history of the region, hikes around the southern face of Mount Mulligan, sunset drinks overlooking the escarpment, wildlife spotting, stargazing, Barramundi fishing and more. You’ll also enjoy unlimited use of paddleboards, kayaks, light fishing gear, electric buggies and a sky gazing telescope. At the conclusion of your stay, at 2:35pm on your departure day, you’ll return to Cairns Airport via helicopter – the sweeping aerial views of the 180-million-year-old Daintree Rainforest, the lush Atherton Tablelands and the rugged terrain that surrounds the majestic Mt Mulligan itself must be seen to be believed!
