The Cape to Cape track is a spectacular walk among the coastal region of Western Australia within the Margaret River region. From the lighthouses of Cape Nautraliste to Cape Leeuwin the track stretches 123 kilometres with magnificent coastlines within Leeuwin-Naturaliste National park, although shorter options are available that feature the highlights of this incredible trek. One of Australia’s top 10 tracks, the trail winds along pristine beaches and dramatic coastal cliffs, as well as through coastal bush that comes alive with wildflowers in the Spring. The magnificent karri trees of Boranup forest provide a great contrast, and Cape Leeuwin, which is also the meeting point of two oceans – the Indian and Southern – provides a unique terminus to the track. See the incredible wildlife and plant variety with approximately 80% of the plant life found nowhere else in the world. Watch dolphins playing in the waves, whales cruising the oceans and kangaroos, emus and lizards rummaging on land.The track is open year-round.
