Surrounded by pristine sandy beaches, the island is home to significant historical sites such as Wybalenna Chapel. Enjoy a picnic lunch then visit the island museum. After returning to the Tavern for an early dinner in order to board a boat cruise to watch the sky change colours and countless mutton birds soar silently overhead. |
Flying Time: 30minutes In the morning, fly to Launceston and visit the impressive Cataract Gorge before having lunch at the locally renowned Stillwater Restaurant. Next, take a scenic drive to Freycinet Lodge, a beautiful lodge filled with interesting architecture, great cuisine and idyllic location. After lunch take part in an easy trek along Richardson’s Beach with an additional option to view a Tasmanian sunset at the Sunset Point. |
Cruise around the peninsula, Schouten Island seal colony and Wineglass Bay in the morning and enjoy the freshly shucked Coles Bay oysters on board. The coastal scenery in this region is truly remarkable. Freycinet Lodge, chefs, along with your hosts await your return for yet another gourmet dining experience. |

In the afternoon, take the time to explore Hobart or relax in your waterfront hotel room. You may wish to visit the controversial and thought provoking MONA or simply soaked up the atmosphere and boutique shops on the waterfront. |
Today you will venture down to the Southern Ocean on a multi-award winning Bruny Island Eco-Cruise. Bruny Island boasts stunning natural cliff formations, some of which are the tallest in the world. See ‘Breathtaking Rock’, the towering ‘Monument’ and the stunning emerald green forests. The impressive array of sea and coastal wildlife rivals many national parks throughout the world. Meet the Bruny Island seals, dolphins, whales, albatross, eagles, gannet, shearwater and petrel who live in this delicate ecosystem. |
Flying Time: 30minutes In the morning, fly over Tasmania’s scenic countryside to Davenport. Travel overland through Tasmania’s high country, arriving at your accommodation for the next two nights, Cradle Mountain Lodge. In the afternoon three are various unique activities to take part in. Venture deep into the forest on the King Billy circuit or take advantage of the many activities Cradle Mountain Lodge provides - such as luxurious spa treatments, to the more active fly-fishing lessons conducted by local experts. After an afternoon of exploration, relaxation or both, enjoy dinner at the Lodge and indulge at this luxurious retreat. |
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a morning of your own time. In the afternoon, take a private journey toward the scenic Dove Lake circuit and enjoy breath-taking views of Cradle Mountain and serenity of Dove Lake. Walk along relatively easy trails before returning to the lodge for lunch and enjoying relaxation after an invigorating walk. |
Depart Cradle Mountain Lodge and enjoy a scenic morning drive as you descend into the tiny town of Corinna in the Tarkine Wilderness. Settle into your wilderness retreat before a very special cruise along the Pieman River in a boat built in 1939 from huon pine. The cruise will reveal just how stunning, beautiful and pristine this region is. |
Flying Time: 45minutes Rejoin your aircraft in Devonport and take a short flight out over the Bass Strait to King Island.
