The magic begins on the remote island of Muonionalusta in Sweden, at your home in Rajamaa, and your base for adventures over the next eight days. Immerse in one of the most spectacular untamed wilderness areas Europe has to offer, learning about the Sámi culture and connecting with nature. Your first day, journey by snowshoeing into the wintry landscapes and engaging into the Sami culture. Ride your own dog sled across 15km of an enchanting snowy landscape, learn about forest skiing, and enjoy a wildlife presentation. Spend a free day creating your own adventures in this remarkable region from a snowmobile safari to exploring on snowshoes. Learn about the history of the traditional Sami people with a visit to a local family, and engage in a fascinating reindeer sledding experience. Your adventure culminates with a two-day expedition in the forest, where you’ll stay overnight in a traditional log cabin and get back to nature in peaceful, untouched surroundings. Ski back to Rajaama with a stopover for lunch at the wayside fire and a chance to see the tracks of wolverine. Every night, we keep our eyes to the sky where, with luck, we will be treated to a magical display of the Aurora Borealis. This itinerary is designed with a mix of guided activities and free time for independent excursions or relaxation so that you can truly immerse into this remote part of the world.

The adventure package includes 7 nights accommodation in fully equipped chalets with twin rooms and shared facilities (in 2-bed or 4-bed configurations) on a twin share basis and 1 in a dormitory-style log cabin (4 per room) deep in the wilderness. Meals and activities are included as specified in the itinerary.
